SEO Advice

OK the last post I had on Sneaky JavaScript Redirection should have come with a health warning, If you do this it’s against the Search Guidelines and will get YOU BANNED if you are caught .. of course they have to catch you first.

so Health Warning the next bit of advice is the NOscript TAG . ( the evil usage :) )

oK FACT.. Search engines read WHATEVER is inside noscript tags. Browsers with Javascript enabled won’t see it.

I think of the noscript tag like the alt attributes of images. If you have images off, the text in the alt attribute should describe what the image is about.

The Text between noscript tags should tell the SE’s what’s supposed to happen when the javascript is enabled.

But ..
sneaky redirect
kevin rose
search engine test
Ok nothing wrong with that example if the JS menu has those 3 links in there, BUT
sneaky redirect
JS redirect
JavaScript redirect
sneaky JS redirect

kevin rose
kevin rose digg
diggs kevin rose
Ban kevin rose

search engine test
Matt Cutts test
testing Matt Cutts
MSN test
Just playing with Matt

Google
Just playing with Matt
Ok NO javascript menu this time just links.. funny thing is this still works in the search engines, but and it’s a BIG BUTT (I like big butts and I can not lie, You other brothers can’t deny, That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist .. oops wrong blog sorry..

The but is that if the SE’s catch you they will ban you :)

Tongue in cheek bit ..
You will also notice that we also put a Link to Google. This is to show google we love them and hope they shower US with love in return.
We linked to Matt because he is our friend but we could have linked to another client friend or someone that had paid us for a few links
and YOU should always link to your seo company hell how would they get any business without your help ;)

Have Fun

Hehe, you know it’s like that when you see that the top 20 backlinks for your company are all from sites you own…

similarly, the tag seems to be effective if not banned. I have a competitor that I know Google knows about but still ranks b/c of the tag.

…also not recommended for those with health problems.

I can almost see Matt at his desk with a completly puzzeled look on his face. Why is this guy telling people how to spam?
